Cherrystone

I have reservations for Cherrystone in 2 weeks, but after this morning's tornado, I guess I'll have to find somewhere else to go. It is so sad. My thoughts and prayers go out to the relatives of the fatalities.

My heart goes out to the victims and their families. I pray the 13 yr old boy heals and is given the strength to handle the passing of his parents.

First camper trip we took was to Cherrystone last year. We enjoyed it immensely and still have the pictures of an unexpected snow that surprised us one morning.
Our hearts go out to any and all who have been affected by the tragedy.

This is terrible. God bless the family of the couple who lost their lives, especially their son.

Prayers and thoughts with the families of this tragedy.

I've often thought about this ..usually during bad storms when the camper is rocking..do campgrounds have any type of evacuation procedures. Seems like every building is just a pole building at campgrounds. Not much safer than my trailer.

One of our most memorable camping trips was to Cherrystone many years ago. I pray that the family of the victims finds strength to carry on to help their young son. I know all of us campers are heart broken for all those that lost so much.

Prayers and thoughts to the families.....

This was the place of our first trip out with our new trailer back in June. This all ways scared me when we go out. It always seem like the weather is bad when we plan a week away. The week of the fourth had a bad storm coming in when we plan on leaving to VT.

I just joined the forum tonight. Check out Pine Grove Campground and Waterfowl Park in Chincoteague or Maddox Campground there too. One hour north of Cherrystone. We LOVE Pine Grove!
