Here's my parts kit. As you can see, I carry just about anything needed, including some of the items listed above.
I then have 2 of these heavy totes, one for my sewer hose and the other for my liquids such as extra oil, ATF, diesel additive, coolant, etc. It also holds wd 40, the parts case below, solder less connectors, rivet gun, VOM, several cans of fixaflat, and dry lube.
I always carry and alum floor jack, jack stand, and a battery pack for emerg starts or air for tires besides my tool bag and my 1/2 torque wrench for lugs.
I also have created a travel checklist which I use and cross off as I put these items in the trailer.
The good thing as the old saying goes...when you bring it with you, you don't normally need it. Amazing though, how many times I've helped a neighbor.

We try to keep it light. My husband just carries the tools he needs. I keep a well stocked pantry. As a matter of fact, when I run out of something in the house I go to the trailer for it.
As for that list, I have several: a hooking up list, a list of stuff to bring on every trip, a list of stuff in the basement storage of the 5er, and a special list for when we go to Florida. I don't have paper copies - they are all on my iPad. I can check things off on the iPad (annotated copy), keeping the original lists intact. I can update these lists easily by just putting a new one on the iPad.
I keep all my recipes, user manuals, etc. on the iPad as well. Saves space, weight, and I always know where to find everything.

Um. I guess that's a compliment. I started the thread to facilitate discussions on what to carry, what goes, what stays home....and addresses my OCD.

New addition to the emergency prep kit.
I've had a stuck waste tank valve (yes the black tank). It was fortunately stuck closed).
With that said, these come in handy to travel with as a back-up if the valve is leaking, stuck, or otherwise damaged.

I had a black tank valve malfunction once.......ONCE! That will never happen again. So I installed the extra valve permanently on my latest Sunset Trail. It does nothing but give you cheap peace of mind.
Also, in your kit if not already mentioned. An orange or yellow safety vest.

I like Walt's kit. The VO takes away the pain of whatever is happening. The BIG credit card fixes it. Then more VO to take away the pain of the Big credit card(:
