Our water pump made an awful hammering sound, almost like the sound an air compressor makes. The water pump hammered so hard sometimes it would actually start to make the kitchen faucet start to open up and drip water. I have never had a water pump sound that bad in any of my other trailers. It flows good but it just made a lot of noise. When I looked at the pump, I have never heard of the brand they used. I debated changing it out with an older Shurflo that I have for a spare. Instead I replaced some of the polly lines with the soft hose, added a 1" thick piece of foam rubber under the pump, removed the wire ties holding the polly pipe against the wall and covered the pipes with pipe insulation and then redid the wire ties. This reduced the noise by about 80% and now the kitchen sink faucet doesn't sound like it is going to come off the counter top. I'm still thinking about changing out the pump to the Shurflo which is a lot quiter and is a 50 psi pump compaired to the 30 psi that is in it right now. But for now the sound is a lot more bearable and doesn't make you jump out of bed if someone runs the water in the middle of the night.
