New Lincoln 2014 Floorplan
Just out of curiosity, does anyone know of a site that shows images of the new Lincoln floorplan? I was able to find a site that showed the new 2014 Franklin. http://vogtrv.com/rv-details.php?stockNum=ER004125 Too many windows in the bedroom for me. I love my Lincoln so much I really don't think I would like the new floorplan of the Lincoln. Thanks!

I clicked your link and saw the camper. There was another tab at the top of the picture that says "floorplan". It worked for me to view the layout.

I would be worried about that front window leaking over time and getting broke while in tow, but I think that's pretty cool.

We fulltime in our Jefferson. The front cap is headed west at our park. Our closet gets very very warm in the summer months. Like keep those closet doors closed. Or dry your just washed clothes in there. I can't imagine how hot it would be with the front window in the bedroom.

From what we were told the floorplan was going to be alot like the Redwood 38fl, not sure as that was back in October and things were not finalized at that point. The new Rushmores are being built in the Redwood Plant now.
Our Lincoln is still in the shop...of the 9 months we have owned it, 7 months off and on have been in the shop.
Putting our 1 year warranty to use

That concern has been brought up to us on our Lincoln, however we wonder how is it any different that an A class windshield? Curious of any thoughts on that.

I absolutely love my front picture window in our Lincoln. I sewed up new window treatments and lined them with a thermal barrier. We also cut a piece of foil insulation(purchased a roll at Lowes) for every window of our unit. Used duct tape to cover the edges. It easily pushes into any window facing the direct sun(under the shades so you can't even see it). Lays flat in the storage area and very lightweight. We need it for the bedroom window where we are in LA right now. Takes care of both sun and cold temps nicely. We also use pipe insulation under the slides if needed to provide an additional wind barrier. Easy to use, light to carry. We decided against the duo-pane windows because of the weight factor. What has anyone else done to get through the heat/cold?

What are you calling pipe insulation, and how are you using it?

Lioyd, we got the idea when winterizing a water hose several years ago. It's the same grey foam pipe insulation we used around the hose and heat tape. I picked it up for $2.69 a package at K-Mart(6 in a pkg). I just tuck it into one corner under the slide, covering the seal and rollers, tucking/pushing it in along the entire gap. I have had to use duct tape to keep it in place once it was so windy. I do it carefully making sure not to push open a seal or put additional pressure on the rollers.

Gotcha. I was trying to figure out where it would be possible to use it under a slide out.

Great idea with the foam wrap. Will be installing some Saturday. Two weeks a was laying on the floor with my legs up on the couch stretching my lower back out. Could feel the draft.
Thanks for the info.

If at all possible, could you post pics of the foam insulation? Thanks.
BTW, love the window insulation idea.

Put a piece of tape over the slide switch to remind you to take out the foam before you bring in the slide....

2014 Franklin? I clicked on the floorplan tab and it brought up the Washington floorplan.

Thanks for sharing the pics of the foam addition! That's such a simple idea, easy and of course, I would've never thought of it! Very helpful.

Thanks for the pics. We will definitely do this in certain camping situations, especially for windy areas. Sometimes the simple solutions are the best.
