Had my OEM LED's replaced once a few weeks ago. If they go out again I will replace them with an aftermarket LED light set. These are what I have booked marked in case I have to order a set: http://www.m4products.com/16-foot-rv-under-awning-color-changing-strip-light-kit-with-controller-april-special/

You can get those on Ebay WAY cheap. I installed a set in my out door kitchen.

Over half of mine are out. Have only used them three times so far. When I bought it only three where out on the very end. When these are replaced under warranty are they replacing them with the same crappy lights?

My dealer told me that it was the connection not the lights. Check your wire going into the tube of awning.

I had mine replaced under warranty. Dealer told me they were having much better "luck" with the replacement ones they were installing. Probably said that just to make me feel comfortable that I wouldn't need to drag outback to them in the near future. Time will tell.

I heard the same from my dealer as p4lrjfd. He said the ones they are getting from the manufacturer are different.

How did you switch them in your kitchen? Where did you put them? I have been thinking of doing the same thing.

During the PDI on my 32RL, I noticed that some of the lights were out. The mechanic said that there were several strips of led's in the string, and that sometimes they come apart. The pushed on the lights from both sides near where the dead ones were and somehow got them all working. I rolled it up and drove it home. Now I have unrolled it and some different ones are out. GRRRR.

Sounds like this is going to be a recurring issue.

They're nothing but junk. If mine go out again, I'll buy an aftermarket set.

I've had my ST25RB since April and they work just fine w/ no problems.

I've been using mine since May, they replaced one set already. The second set has a few that go off and on at their whim. I really like them but the trip to dealer takes up the whole day. Maybe if I have to replace them I'll get the set from Crossroads and do it myself.

My 2014 32RL has 2 awnings All LEDs worked at first but now random LEDs are out on the forward awning. I have yet to address this with the local shop.

MY new 2013 32RL worked when I drove it away from the dealer, but the first trip out, had several lights out. I took it back to ExploreUSA and they replaced the whole LED assembly on both awnings. So far, so good, another trip booked next week, will give it a go.

Happy Campin !

LEDs out on awning

This is my second trip in the new camper. After the 3rd night 3 of the LEDs stopped working, 4th night 2 more went out. I've been rolling up my awning every time it rains. Seems like every time I roll it up I loose lights. I lost an awning last year in a rain storm so I am very cautious now.

It's the type of lights they used. My dealer replaced my lights and the first thing I noticed was it has less lights than the original. They are spaced out a little more. So far so good. They work fine and are very bright.

Very common problem. I had three out when I picked mine up. After 3 or 4 nights well over half of them were out. Dealer replaced them and new ones seem much brighter. Only used a couple times since, so don't know how long these will last.
