I think they replaced ours twice before we got a set that quit blowing out lights. Now they all work and it has been almost a year.

Dealer is replacing mine as we speak. Had at least 25-30 individual lights out. Hopefully this will fix it because at a year old this isn't acceptable for a $25K trailer.

Just to add my .2c
Our main awning lost 30% of the LEDs (Elevation 3912). Took to dealer who knew of a problem with the early LED strips. Replaced the LEDs under warranty and they all work fine now.
That said, the new LED strip is a little brighter than the 2nd awning LED strip, but not enough to be a problem.

No, but I do know you need an LED compatible switch. Here's a link for some. http://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&key...l_970fwq79ii_b

I did on my last trailer when I installed the LED's on the side of the trailer. I got both the lights and dimmer from Amazon. So far the wife hasn't complained with the blueish color lights. I still may install another strip of LED's on the trailer body below the awning so we have lights when the awning is rolled up.

After just 3 months my strip has sections that are delaminating and not lighting. The clear coating seems to be melting off of them. I plan on calling customer service to see what can be done.

Your dealer should replace. Very common problem with the originals.

My replacement strip is brighter and they all work for a change. I don't use them much because of the hoards of bugs it draws, but it's nice to have them working again. They replaced the front blue LED strip too because it had faded out completely and stopped working.

I had several LED's out since purchasing our RV, but it wasn't a worry and figured I'd have it replaced before the warranty ran out... good advice in this thread, thanks!

We have a 2014 TT they came as standard and did work initially but went out the dealer replaced them under warranty. As previously posted the early models did seem to have a problem with this.

We have a Redwood 39mb with two awnings. On the main awning the wire snapped in two!

Half of our LEDs were out as well. This was one issue that was covered under the extended warranty!

Awning lights no longer work
When we did our walkthrough, there was not enough room to open the awning completely, so the lights were a nice surprise during our first camping trip. The worked for 5 days while we were there, and now that we are home, are no longer working. My husband is an LED light nut and is so upset!
Time to call the dealer, yuck.

I'm gonna remove them from my 2015 32RL,...useless trim I say, especially if they will not work 6 months after delivery. Work now but don't use them outside anyway,...entry light is bright enough. Just my thoughts.

I love the look of them but, the next time they go out, I will buy my own (hopefully a better brand) and put them up myself. I would not put them on the awning, but would install them below the awning. That way, you can have them on with the awning out or in.

Where were your water leaks. Curious as I have the same trailer.

No, it's been over a year and they are still ok, none are burned out.
