I am sorry let me also mention ingress is a major problem for a digital signal. A loose connection will let off air channels interfere with your digital signal causing a black or blue screen.

All 4way splitters have a 7 db loss all 3 way splitters have 2 legs that have a 7 db loss while the 3rd leg has a 3.5 db loss, and all 2 ways have a 3.5 db loss. Howvever this db drop is meaningless...
