I had the same issues when I bought my 290QB, wasn't sure if it was worth paying the extra money for the extra door. I'm more than happy with going with the 290QB.

White oak campground located just north of Dothan right on lake eufaula is a great place to camp, fish and boat.

Another nice place to go is Camp Gulf in Destin where you can park your RV directly...

I used to live in Dothan. Great place to live, it has grown tremendously in the last 10 years. Make sure you go camping at the Florida Caverns in Marianna sometime.

2011 Ford F150 with max tow package. Had a F350 for years but got tired of paying so much for diesel for my everyday driving. F150 tows just fine and is cheaper on fuel.

Fort DeSoto in st. Petersburg is a nice state(maybe county) park.
Sun n Fun in Sarsota is a nice RV resort with lots of amenities.
