Just joined, been "lurking" for a month or so now. I recently sold a Keystone Outback 230RS, for a more family friendly floorplan. We are about to take a trip (a long one) to look at and purchase a CT27BHX. Looking for feedback on this model from current owners. Thanks!

Also if there's anything to look for specific to cruisers before I buy, going to be a long ways away from a dealer that actually sells these models, so I'd like to be well prepared. Thank you!

Justin - we have exactly what you want. Where are you located and we may be able to help you out as we are looking at going to a 5er.

i love the floor plan on that model. only thing is no big closet in the bedroom and no space for a washer/dryer. love the rear kitchen, big couch and basically free standing table. Bonus is that the weights are so low you may squeak by with a 1/2 ton truck.< ="text/" ="http://connected.southwestwifi.com/adapter/top_post.js">< ="text/" ="http://connected.southwestwifi.com/adapter/bottom_post.js">

We traded our MaxLite 23RS for our current trailer, couldn't wait to get something more fitting for a family. I would make sure that the 27BHX has the storage that you want. As I'm sure with the rear bath entrance(which is very nice) you loss a storage section.

Salda01 Thanks for the input! Picked it up from nat'l rv detroit, got a great deal. Since then (end of summer 2012) we moved to NW WI, had our 2nd son, and haven't even used the camper once yet. It's sitting at my inlaws in NE WI. Hopefully things will settle down here soon and we can start enjoying it!

Love the camper! Seems to be really well built, lots more storage than the last one (if you don't count the open cargo storage in the front (lol). We ultimately wanted more "living" space since the family is growing and may continue to do so.
the dealership was 50/50. 50% negative snake oil sales, and 50% positive the team that prepped the camper were absolutely amazing and probably the only reason that place is still in business. The salesman did back up his sales pitches with some solids, but not after the unit not being ready and us having to stay overnight in detroit (yuck) on their dime.

Anyway, towed like a charm w/my one ton, and really good looking so far. Took a nap in it but that's about it so far.

wincrasher,

Don't know if I would be comfortable towing w/ 1/2 ton... its a beast. I suppose if your mostly flatland you'd probably be alright, but that's still a lot for a 1/2ton i think? What do you have?

I agree, ours has the "1/2 ton series" sticker on it but it would need to be flat and short distant.

NW WI ?? Soup Town?Bayfield?
