Slide went out fine tore down camp this morning in Nova Scotia and slide is not working. Ended up using manual crank, just set up 6hrs later and still dead. Checked fuses in main panel and all appear good. Frustrated to heck as it worked fine going out.
Oh by the way the manual crank has to go on the shafts in the opposite slide on the opposing side of the trailer.
That was a hard lesson to learn........

Any suggestions? Might pull the panel in the front storage and check for more fuses.

Heck, it looks like a brand new trailer. I don't know that I'd even try to figure out what might be wrong, beyond looking for a broken automotive-type fuse or a thrown circuit breaker. If it's as new as it looks, I'd just call Crossroads, tell 'em it's broken and ask where the nearest place is that you can take it to get it fixed -- on their dime.

I had to have my 2011 5er repaired last year. My problem was the living room slde wouldn't go out. I ended up breaking the manual crank rod trying to get it to move. I didn't put much pressure on it either. The manual rods are made pretty thin. I talked to the Lippert Company and they said their made thin so you won't tear anything else up and only will twist off the rod. (OK) Took it in to be repaired and found that the main shaft had sheared off twisting the motor up with it. I had Lippert send me another manual rod so I could have an extra one in case it happened again. Hopefully I'll never need it. Below is the picture of the broken manual rod.

I had one break just like that when my big slideout wouldn't move, just needed adjusting. Replaced it with tubing and roll pins I found at Farm and Fleet. Tube was long enough to cut in half and have an extra one.

Well I took it to the dealer after we got home, 1200 miles in 20hrs........

Dropped it off in the afternoon on Friday around 2pm in Owen Sound Ont at Spring Mount RV,they said they would try and get a look at it on Saturday or Monday.Got a call later Friday afternoon and they told me to come pick it up as they had the problem fixed and had adjusted a few other things like the shower door and the bedroom closet door.

Turns out the terminal block vibrated out of the slidemotor, they pushed it back in and away it went.

Also learned in the field during a cold, raining, muddy morning that the manual slide crank controls the opposite sides of the trailer.

Weeventually figured that out after laying under the trailer in the mud and water and pulled the mesh cover down on the side that wasn't going out and noticed the rod running from the opposite side of the trailer.

Good info to know and had we known we would have been on the road 2hrs earlier.

Cudo's to Spring Mount RV for their prompt service ! It don't get any better folks..........

1200 miles in 20 hours...oh my gosh, you were moving pretty good. I did 900 miles from Colorado Springs to Boise, ID last summer and I'll never do that again. That is just too much strain to take for me, I'm sure there was a reason you had to move so far so fast. Glad you made it safely.

I have had problems with the largest slide not moving...just a ratcheting sound like an overload mechanism is kicking out. I took it in and everything checked out OK. Just needed to be lubed. So now several times a season get under the slide and spray it with slide lube and wipe it down and no more problems! Definitely worth the price of a can of lube.
