Jeannie and I will be camping there this coming weekend 16th-18th. Will check out the sites. We do plan to attend the rally in 2020. Also we like the name who ever picked it out. Randy

Reservation Fix

Stan and Joe. Sorry you had difficulty with reservations. Just talked to Kathy in the Western Village office, and she believes you may have been dealing with a new office employee who is not yet up to speed. Joe, I asked them to reserve Site 180 for you which you can change if you'd prefer a different site. Please call and ask for Kathy in the office and she will take all of your information and send email confirmations.

2020 Rally

Jeannie and I will be in site # 182. We will arrive on Friday and leave on Sunday
You will be driving through a housing development before you come to the camp ground.
There is a sign for the campground off Walnut Bottom Road saying 1/4 miles back.
That's where you want to turn Left if you come off of route 81.

I'm just wondering why such a short time to register at this campground for the rally..? From what I can see it looks like a really nice campground...I also know that Carlisle holds a lot of car related shows, and am wondering if that could be the reason..?Do they have a show happening at the same time as our rally..?

Tommy, that was the time period given to Debbie and myself when we were at the Campground. It's not fixed in stone. They said if you are a little bit late and the sites are open you can still register.

As far as car shows, I see nothing listed for that weekend.

Ready for Spring?

Mark and I are really ready for spring after these couple of warm days. Hoping everyone is mentally and physically tuned up for another camping season! Mark and I have had decent health since May, and have had no more hospital visits.
My mother passed away the Sunday before Thanksgiving, so we have had some very sad days, but also some joyful days knowing that she is no longer struggling. I was her main caretaker for a little over 6 years, and having all this extra time each day was a bit disconcerting for a while. Thought I needed to have something to do each day, but have found that relaxation is a beneficial activity....so this is what retirement is like...
