Your doing OK Tommy. Spring is coming. When I got back from Baltimore Friday night, my house was 50 degrees. They "forgot" to deliver my oil. Had to wait for an emergency 25 gallon fill till 3 am so I could start the oil burner. By the way, it was -7 degrees outside that night. Susan was none too happy. Thank God for the ceramic heaters and gas fireplace.

Well we at least got a real snow last night. They cancelled school yesterday for a little ice in the morning but 47 degrees and no snow all day. Last night we got about 5 inches and now Anthony's camaro is stuck in the neighborhood. He gave up trying to get it out and parked it on the side of the road. The truck made it to and from dropping him off at work without even needing 4wd.

Al
Hope you have a snow blower and are NOT shoveling by hand...I think I heard one of the news casters in my area say that this Feb. was the coldest ever for Southeast Pa.

Aileen
Thanks for NOT sending that snow to us...Two storms passed my area, one from the South and one from the West, both missed my area... In one of my posts at the beginning of this thread I said I LIKE the change of seasons...Well I am NOW READY for the next CHANGE...

Rain predicted this weekend. Next problem where will the water go. Many storm and street drains are covered with frozen snow. On top of that it will remain below freezing next week. Yep it is still Winter.

The East has gotten all the big snow storms this year for sure. We only have about 10--12 in. on the ground. We had more then that earlier in the season, but it melted.
Al is correct, winter isn't over yet. It was 10 below this morning, and suppose to be 15 below tomorrow morning, and all of it heading East.

We got 6" on 2/16/15. It had just about all melted by yesterday. There was only patches left in shady areas and the mounds in parking lots. Last night and this morning we got 8" more. It's supposed to get up to 50° on Monday and up to 63° on Wednesday, so hopefully most of this will be gone by next week.

For those of us still suffering with this crazy winter, here is some good news. SC police caught Elsa and arrested her after KY police issued a warrant against her for bringing the cold weather. Elsa arrested

Another 4" on top of freezing rain today. Set a new record today, 5 neighbor driveways in 50 minutes. The John Deere is getting a real workout this winter.

I even seen a pickup with a 5th wheel in the line up.

We got about 3/4 inch of ice followed by 10 inches of snow. I-24 was closed this am from IL to well into KY. Supposed to get down to -1 by morning.

Went outside at 6:00PM yesterday to clear my driveway...I did my drive, one of my sister-in-laws drive and an older neighbors driveway...Had to quit at that point could not feel some of my fingers...Will clean off the truck and some odds & ends today....Got about 10 inches all together...Glad it was soft dry snow and not wet...
