We Baby Boomers crowded the schools, drove the music industry, fueled the economy, and now this... no surprise. We will continue to surge ahead, and crowd the nursing homes, run up the market for Depends, and finally, crowd the cemeteries. But it's been one heck of a ride so far!

I manage Siemens Healthcare locations in Elkhart and Mishawaka, IN. The statement below is correct as the unemployment rate is extremely low and it's hard for me acquire a staff at both locations for the services we provide. We had to resort to offering retention bonuses and that has seemed to work.

"Winnebago is based in Forest City, Iowa, but RV manufacturing is heavily concentrated in northern Indiana, which produces about 85 percent of the U.S.’s RVs. Indiana is home to the two largest producers, Thor Industries Inc. (THO.N) and Forest River Inc., owned by Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway (BRKa.N). The production boom has strained labor markets in the region, with many factories struggling to expand quickly enough to meet demand."

Here's another article on Wall Street Journal talking about the boom in the RV industry.

Too bad it's a "sign in or sign up" site. No thanks.

I'm kind of surprised that there's a boom in the RV industry. Pleasently surprised, but still surprised.

Not really hard to believe...People don't want to travel outside the country as much considering what is happening now a days...

With the economy booming the way it has been, there really isn't any surprise that the RV business is booming right along with it.
