Have dealt with Grumbines myself and have found them true to their word.
We just picked up a Cruiser at Grumbines and have been very satisfied.
Good luck with yours.

Steve, I'm not here to put grumbine's down but let me share a few things with you and I know others can back this along with their issues that they had. Now you say if your 90 miles away that they will come to you if any issue. I was camping 10 miles away, called and they told me to bring it in. I took it in for service, when it was finished, days later they handed me the keys. Well the keys belonged to another unit. They lost my keys so it took a few more days to get my keys back. I also ordered leg landing pins, they measured them. They kept getting the wrong item in. After 4 weeks of waiting, I called the company myself for the pins. I had them in 2 days. I could go on but not going to write a book. Like I said, i'm not here to put them down. They do have great guys working there. Good luck with your unit and happy trails.

I'm a new forum member and newly considering buying my first TT. Considering a new ST reserve trailer. I like the features, price, etc. This thread has really made me reconsider. I wasn't before, but will now go look at more brands (probably make the 10 minute trip down the road to look at Jayco that I never felt the need to before). Did Tom ever clarify the roof warranty? I don't see that anywhere.

Hey folks, it's been a
while since I visited and boy have things changed.<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /></span>

</span>

As
like some of you other old timers here, I will be in the market for a new
trailer soon and CR will not be on my list either. Good thing mycamper has been pretty well fine tuned and it has a couple of good years left in it.
I went to the Tampa Super
Show this past weekend and popped in on the CrossRoads venue. Not at all
impressed. Compared to what my 2006, these things don't stand up. Many units had damage of some sort, of course some was
apparent damage by inept dealer staff. You know, doors left open when slides
brought in and that sort of stuff, but cabinet doors completely falling off the
hinges and holes in thevinyl floors was too much for me to
bear.</span>Not to mention the change in construction
and the warranty change. </span>But to make
matters worse, the sales brochures being handed out still say 2+5 warranty. I have one in my trash can as proof. You think a little better effort would have been made.</span>

Wow, things have certainly changed.</span>

Nice to see you again BD - I had the chance to chat with the CR Rep at the Boston show. As always, great people to chat too but they are holding the line that the new 1-Year Promise is the way the company will be headed from now on.

A real shame, I was just promoted with a large increase in responsibility that will limit my ability to travel long distances - hence my Class C is up for sale locally as I type this. I'm happy over the last 2+ years with it we've been out west, to amish country, and NFL games.

Long story short - we want a larger travel trailer to park at a seasonal. The Zinger is beautiful and fits the bill. However, the Jayco/Forest Rivermodels at the Boston show all had a 2-year warranty at the same price. Despite the "talk" about the new warranty the longer warranty on the other units at the same (or less) $$$ has steered me elsewhere from Crossroads.

I still love the CR products.

Mike,
I found the same thing in
Tampa. I took away from what I saw thatthe Cruiser line has been relegated to the base entry
level unit in quality.
</span>My experience with the 2
year warranty was it was needed due to bad siding supplied to CR. Skin replaced
in 06 and then again in 07 to gel coat. There was true value to this buyer in
that extra year. I spoke highly to the quality of CR's products and service to
every fellow camperI talkedto.
</span>Things
change. Some good, some bad and we move on. Too bad. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /></span>

Thanks for your post to the site and I'm sorry about your experience at the Tampa show. I was at the Tampa show from Tuesday to Sunday and I didn't see what you saw. I can tell you there were 35,000 + visitors who walled through each display, walking on carpet, opening doors and drawers, and pulling on blinds. The units at any show take an absolute beating and the Tampa show is no exception. I had a lady lose her balance and fall completely through a closet door in the Redwood. Thank goodness she wasn't hurt, but the coach was damaged beyond repair at the show. As for the 2+5 warranty - depending on when the coach was built - the 2+5 warranty might still apply.Ate far as brochures being passed out - the dealership makes that call based on their inventory. This is a dealer show, not a manufacturers show. It might be unfair to judge CrossRoads on decisions made by the dealer.

It's too bad you didn't introduce yourself to me. I would have loved to talk to you in person about some of your frustrations with CrossRoads. Maybe next time...

Thanks,
Tom Montague

Tom,<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /></span>

Thank you for your
feedback. I came through on Saturday and I would have loved to talk to you.
At nearly every product line section I requested to talk to a CR factory rep and wasn't
told your name. Please understand that I was a loyal customer and looked
forward to seeing what the latest rendition of the company had to offer. Am I disappointed?
Yes, but you need to know what your customers are thinking and the impressions
that are made. I understand and disregard wear and tear from traffic and show
damage. I saw the Redwood with the bashed out door. Another little advice.
Instruct the dealer to remove the damaged door entirely to eliminate the hazard
of the sharp remnants. Looked like there was a bar fight heading up those
stairs! </span>The 355BL was another disaster.
It appeared that someone ran the slide out in with the right French door open
and the entire bottom bunk structure was ripped open like the Titanic. </span>My specific observations other than the
damage caused by general public and inept staff I won’t air in public. </span>If you want my honest opinion, please feel
free to send a PM and I would be glad to share.
</span></span>

Now, I
must say that the Rushmore showed well and the dealership representing this
line did a great job. But I'll need to wait for the kids to leave home before
we can entertain that notion as we're still a bunk house family. </span>

Tom, I will stick my two cents in here, I looked very hard at the Rushmore abouta year and a half ago, nice unit and itwas one of our3finalist in our 5th Wheel choice.

In the end would up buying another brand that we have been very happy with.

I was at the Tampa Show last week and went through the "New" Rushmore's, very impressed with the layouts, features and overall product at the price point.

We did not look at any other Crossroads products except for the Redwood.

I think Crossroads engineering and design has done a good job on the new Rushmore's.

Our only dislike was the Dark Wood inside but it will be a few years before we will be ready to replace our current 5th Wheel and maybe by that time the interior woods will lighten up, we will certanly keep a eye on the Rushmore product line.

Been watching the new Corssroads Warranty discussion hard too and the brand of 5th Wheel we wound up buying has a 2 year warranty like the Rushmore did at the time.

There were a lot of things that came into play when we made our decision on a new 5th Wheel last time, Construction, Layout, Features, Company Support, Priceand Warranty.

The 3rd finalist in our search only had a 1 year warranty which moved it to the bottom of our search list.Edited by: Rob_Fla

MOving this to the front page.

I am on page 7. Whew, tough slogging.

Anything new on whether CR will do an about face (unlikley so soon despite feedback) or anything new on people having issues with quality?

Makes me think if I do buy the 26 BH ST reserve I had better buy the extended warranty.....

I had an extended warranty on our sold Cruiser. Only a few issues under warranty. All were easily resolved. Most of the issues we had were covered under the Xtraride extended warranty. That company is outstanding. It even transfered to the new owners. So, for $50 they got five more years of coverage.

Not likely. Tomstopped offering input on this thread and I have yet to hear a new customer claim the warrantyis an improvement over the original warranty(not a manager being paid to hold the corporate line).

I say "oh well" - most folks will let their pocketbook do the talking from this point forward.

Just take note, if not all, most RV
manufacturers disclaimer all of their marketing regarding options and
construction features. It's on their brochures and website legal page. </span>
<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /></span>

All
features, specs and etc. are subject to change without notice.</span>
</span>

I ran across this issue
with another RV company in a camper I actually purchased but refused delivery. I
discovered the construction had changed greatly andwhat was presentedby
marketing materials, website and sales personnel was not in fact reality. The spec changes were so
great that as far as I was concerned, it was no longer the same grade of
camper. So the dealer tore up the sales agreement as they had to agree. The
dealer dropped that line as they too were buzzed about it as this change had
taken place at the production line for over six months prior and their factory
rep didn't inform them. The factory rep fessed up that my information was
correct. That's what lead me to my Crossroads Cruiser.Still happy with this purchase 7 years later.</span>

I'm not saying anything
here except what I've seen in the industry. </span>

As a
very wise man once said, "Trust but verify". </span>

Our Elevation has the 2 year warranty. We bought it in May 2012, we had to take it in for service within 2 weeks, they kept it over a month. We got it backand used it a couple of times, took it back in for service. Last time we were able to use is was October 2012. It's been in service since before Thanksgiving 2012 and it's still in the shop!! We have averylong list of minor and major problems.Bottomline is,we need a 2 year warranty on Crossroads becausewe will get one year of use out of it in 2 years!!!! In order to get approval for any warranty work to be done, the service center has to send pictures to Crossroads to get approval to order the parts to do the repairs. Parts take from 2 to 4 weeks to come in. If something else needs to be repaired, all work stops untilthis process is repeated. I found BBB complaints online, several unresolved since Crossroads is unwilling to admit to any probems with this procedure. I was personally told by a Crossroads exec that when people complain it can make the service people mad and it can take much longer to get the problem fixed. I told him,that's the problem, that attitude is acceptableto Crossroads.

Tom, We have been proud and vocal supporters of the "Crossroads Family" since we purchased our Seville in 2008, which was sold with a 2 year "bumper to bumper" warranty and a 5 year structural warranty, which we have had to use 3 times to date. I love the product but more importantly I loved the warranty and the after sale service provided by Randy and his crew. They have taken care of me beyond my greatest expectations. If you have had very few claims on the 5 year structural warranty, then why not continue to offer it as it shouldn't cost the company anything. I think going to a 1 year warranty is draconian and I am notifying Rudy Boals that I will not be considering a Rushmore for the replacement of my Seville. Despite the issues I have had with my unit, the 2 + 5 warranty made it right. My experience tells me that 1 year is totally inadequate given the build quality provided by Crossroads. Regards, Tim

has change any!

<div id="system">
<article ="item"="">
<er>
<h1 ="title"="">12-Point Promise</h1>
</er>
<div ="="" clearfix"="">

CrossRoads RV offers a one-year warranty backed by our 12-Point Promise.

  1. <h3>CrossRoads Direct</h3>

    A big deal - we are authorized to administer not only our warranty
    but the warranty of our vendors for the entire year. Having this
    in-house will allow us to deliver quicker service times, happier dealers
    and more satisfied retail owners.

  2. <h3>Quick Assist</h3>

    An industry first - we provide each coach with two hours of service
    time to quickly diagnose and fix issues without prior pre-authorization.
    This dramatically shortens the time it takes our owners to get back on
    the road.

  3. <h3>24-Hour Factory Support</h3>

    We provide access to a CrossRoads employee, 24 hours a day for timely, knowledgeable responses.

  4. <h3>One-Hour Work Authorizations</h3>

    Our pledge to our dealers is to quickly and efficiently turn around authorization times within one hour of the dealer request.

  5. <h3>Emergency Parts List</h3>

    By providing our dealers a list of parts that 1) would render the
    coach unusable or 2) are frequently used, we can better ensure our
    dealers are prepared for potential issues and can get our owners back on
    the road without lengthy delays.

  6. <h3>Dealer Stock (our claim, their part)</h3>

    Making it easy and efficient is what NGV is all about. Allowing our
    dealers to quickly diagnose using Quick Assist, then allowing them to
    submit a claim and use their in-house parts to fix the issue is designed
    to be quick and easy for everyone.

  7. <h3>Dedicated Supplier Reps</h3>

    For added piece of mind, CrossRoads has partnered with the industry's
    largest supplier to provide unparalleled support by having two
    dedicated CrossRoads reps on staff to quickly resolve issues.

  8. <h3>NGV Ownership Delivery Process</h3>

    We care - our NGV delivery process ensures our owners are not only
    comfortable with their purchase but they understand how to use, maintain
    and fully enjoy it.

  9. <h3>DSC Support</h3>

    The Dealer Support Crew (DSC) is tasked with redefining the
    relationship between CrossRoads, our dealers and our retail owners. How,
    you ask? By increasing dealer visits from CrossRoads employees, by
    opening up lines of communication between Customer Service Departments,
    by enhancing the Delivery experience and finally making sure your
    CrossRoads product makes a great first impression by being Show Room
    ready.

  10. <h3>Six-Month Ownership Satisfaction Guarantee</h3>

    Peace of Mind - Owners can bring their new purchase back to the
    selling dealer for a six month check-up on CrossRoads' dime to further
    enhance the ownership experience.

  11. <h3>Show Room Ready Inventory</h3>

    To help ensure CrossRoads product makes a GREAT first impression, all
    CrossRoads sales staff and the newly formed DSC will inspect dealer
    inventory during visits to ensure our product is SHOW ROOM ready.

  12. <h3>Coach-Net 24-Hour Roadside Assistance</h3>

    Each CrossRoads product comes standard with one year of Coach-Net for
    additional peace of mind while our customers are traveling.
