Our kitchen slide must not be perfectly alligned because when closed one side near the bottom sticks out about 1.5 inches. I tried loosening the bolts that I thought should be loosened and pushed but no movement. Maybe I should try again, any ideas?... Anyone else have that problem?...
There is a web site that Lipper has that will tell you how to do this.I can't remember where I found it, put its there with some looking.I think what is stopping yours is the gold color tube that is used to set the limits. It's adjustable to change how far in it will run.Don't take this for fact until you find the web site and read up on it.Good luck
Cowboy...be careful...the 30SK kitchen slide may NOT be misaligned. The bottom left corner as viewed from outside is always 1" further out due to the location of the slide and wheel well cover (the wheel well cover is split between the slide and main body). Mine was the same way, as well as others that have the 30SK. We all thought it was an issue but it isn't. I am not saying yours isn't out of alignment, but if the bottom left corner is what you are looking at, then it may be normal.
FB1965...thanks for the info I will read up on it...Stan, yep its the area you describe....supposed to be that way huh?...hmm...really?...ok then...thanks...
Hmmmm, our used 2006 Cruiser the kitchen slideout also sticks out about 1.5" when closed, ours on the right side, viewed from outside so this edge is closer to the front of the 5th wheel.....I've been concerned about it but as mwebber78 suggests our slide fits tightly against the outside seals so I guess all is "golden!"</span>
During the evening go inside the trailer (dusk is a good time) and with the slide IN have someone flash a light source around the seals as you look from inside. You should see no light.
