Can anyone recommend campgrounds in NJ along I78 about mid state. We are going to a wedding in Basking Ridge NJ in Sept and looking for a place to stay. Private or Nat/State Parks.

Sorry, I can not help you, but I thought someone should reply to your post. You should go on the internet and google NJ campgrounds, and RV parks, that should bring up a list of places. Go to their web page and look for GALLERY. If they do not have a gallery on the web page STAY AWAY (unless they have one on facebook). You can usually get a pretty good idea if it is a nice campground by their web page. That is how I pick a campground in an area I am not familiar with, and it has worked for me, except for once.

Stay tuned to this channel someone else might chime in at any time...

You can try checking out campgroundreviews.com and look for campgrounds local to the area you are heading to.

Thanks for the replies.. I've searched the internet and can't find anything that's closer than an hour. Guess I will have to live with that. Staying in PA for a wedding in NJ. I'll probably just leave the trailer in the park and spend one night at the hotel. Could be worse.

Thanks again, one of these times we'll make it to one of the Rallies.

If you are a member of Good Sam you can look at the various options along your route.

From South Jersey so cannot speak of North Jersey campgrounds; but if you want to head south Cape May County has a whole bunch. I also recommend www.campgroundreviews.com
