I think there was someone on the the forum that had a problem with the auto leveling system and collapsed in a RV park. Crossroads replaced there RV I think. Then all went quiet on the forum.

Jason (rollingrock) has not been on the forum since 5/2013. I wonder if this was another case of keep quite and we will take care of it. I sent him a PM to see if he got his issue resolved.

no one has ask me to keep this to myself. I been trying to tell the whole world how poorly Crossroads have treated us being BROKEN DOWN FOR 26 days now on our vacation.
Crossroads response to our 68 concerns have been weak....nothing but a nightmare. It is a war just to get them to look at all of our problems. I think they hope we will just go away. We have had our super structure crack in two places already, one at the pin box and one one mid ship above a slide. We have had two schwintwc slides pack in in completely and two of the schwintecs not operating properly still. There is a fight going on if there going to open up the floors to find our 10 plus nasty squeaks and the fact our center island has come detach. It is screwed to the plywood but the plywood has probably detach from the 2x3 studs or god forbid the studs have detach from the frame or a combination of both.......ether way this needs to be fix now. My floor joints have 16 " centers and the new build Rushmore after Nov 1 has 11 ' centers. Even Cross roads know there is a issues. They also drop the schwintec slides in the living room for Hydraulic.......i wonder why? My wife has been crying for three days now and i had to arrange to fly her home to Canada leaving me and our five labs to care for ourselves. She is not returning until this unit is completely repaired or replaced...shame on you Crossroads, you have made my life a living hell! She is not returning until this unit is completely repaired or replaced.

NOT AT ALL HAPPY

You might want to go update the post you made about this on rv.net. I have always been of the opinion if you can't get a company to pay attention to your issue cost them sales on every forum you can. They tend to pay attention when their products start getting bad reviews for the public to see.

I have just spoke with Mark Quinn and Ron Howard from crossroads on a three way phone call. They have apologize to us for us falling threw the cracks. They have said there are working on expediting all of our repairs in a 911 fashion including the remainder 35 plus repairs and especially our Pin box and floor repairs. It seems that our floor squeaks in the living room are possibly caused by the plywood to separate from the cross members or the cross members has let go of the lippert frame or a combination of both. Either way the center island and the entire flooring will have to be remove and a section over the center island will have to be removed to determine what exacting has happen.
As for the Pin box the front cap and lower panel with have to be remove to determine what repairs will be required .

I will keep everyone in the loop on the promise repairs from Crossroads as soon as I know
Have a Great Day everyone

I would insist on a new unit, seems like the lemon law should apply. Usually the law has a number of days out of service that may apply.

You may also want to look at the Magnusom Moss Warranty Act. I know someone git rid of their defective Redwood using this.

I believe Kglenn is a Canadian and I don"t know if he bought in the USA. Not sure how the federal protection laws would apply if purchased in Canada. Anyone have knowledge of that?

In an earlier post Kglenn said he purchased the unit in Sacramento, California.

Hi Guys
It's Glenn from BC Canada
The unit was purchase in the state of CA in the good old USA so the Magnusom Moss Warranty Act will apply. At least that what my lawyer is saying. If we are Lucky our repairs should be completed by Dec 20 at the earliest. That we be a total of 40 days broken down. We will see how the repairs progress and decide what works for us best in the end. Any thoughts out there?
Have a excellent weekend everyone

Still not clear to me. You have been asked to stop talking about the Rushmore problem.

From what I see, the thread has been closed and kglenn has been asked to continue to pursue his problem with his dealer and Crossroads directly and not to go thru this forum.

Gee, I never knew there was a rule book for posting only good things about our Crossroads' experiences. Although mine have turned out well thus far, I know others who have not. Since some of us are planning on an RV change, we need to know what to avoid. I think weekly updates on the Rushmore issue are not too much to ask for. We are interested as can be seen by all the responses.

If Glenn had a problem with his clients, I am sure he would take care of it or PRFC would be out of business.

Even if the customer is not right, you still have to make it right as a business owner. My dad owned his own business and always went the extra mile.

Although I do not know Glenn personally, this is probably what he wants from Crossroads - the extra mile to make things right. I doubt that any of us expected a problem free RV because everything can have an issue. I hope Crossroads does the right thing for him.

Wow, I just got back on the forum after being away for a month or two and I guess I will be banned by the end of the year. I have said a lot of things over the last 9 years that will probably get me banned with this new bunch. Sorry but you have to have the bad along with the good.

Hey guys. Lets take a look at this from another angle.
We don't own this forum Andy R. does. We don't set the rules. Andy and Janet do. We don't pay to come onto and use this forum. Some forums charge a fee to belong and post.
Now in my opinion kglenn was over stepping his bounds. Janet came on an asked him in a very respectful way to stop. I thought she was very diplomatic and not at all disrespectful.

I told kglenn awhile back that it wasn't necessary to be posting the same problems over and over here on the forum. He didn't take my advise either.

Now if anybody would care to do some reading, check it out here.

It's on the bottom of every page.

Posting problems and complaints, venting is to be accepted, but when it starts turning into a rolling rant with legal threats being thrown around, that is going to draw fire from the admin.
Lets face it we all have problems, but how much of it ever gets settled here on the forum.

Now, I'm not posting this to start a discussion. I've said all I'm going to about the situation.
