We love our 2011 F250 4x4 King Ranch Crew Cab. We bought it used in 2014 and did have the death wobble problem but that was solved with new tires. Having A/C issues now but oh well. Wouldn't mind trading up for a 350 or 450 King Ranch in near future.

One truck I didn't see was the 2017 Chevy Silverado. I haven't heard bad things about it, there's one for sale at Williams Group Auto that looks really nice. Probably capable of hauling a decent size RV. They are a used dealership in Abilene I would check out. I've heard of a couple of people who were happy with them.

My son had the Excursion with the 6.0 & that had to be the biggest POS engine ever to be covered by a hood. After 4-5 sets of head gaskets (with the ARP head bolts), 2 sets of injectors & a turbo he called the bank & told them he couldn't keep it running & also make the payments so come pick it up & bring a wrecker it won't run.
Needless to say he's bought his one & only Ford, I tried to tell him before he bought it what F O R D stands for, fix or repair daily. If you didn't notice I'm not a Ford fan, just my opinion. I will say the new super duty trucks are the best looking Ford has had in a lot of years, the F150 has to be the worst in a lot of years. Again my opinion!
He now owns Dodges & is just now having to do repairs on it after 287k miles, so I guess its been a good'un. Surprisingly it's still worth $20-30k, it's the 5.9 mega cab 3500 4x4.
