I just ordered the GRV T10 921 194 24-3528 SMD LED Bulb lamp Super Bright Warm White from Amazon for our Zinger 25SB. Shipping is in 17-28 days. I'm curious to see what the difference is. If they are better, I will order more.
Thank you all for your comments and suggestions.
On another note, MidOhioHunter, do ya'll come to the Rally in Shipshewana Indiana?

No, not even sure I've heard of this one yet. We are new owners, the trailer is still breaking us in. I had seen some rallies further away but was curious if there ever was one in Ohio, seems to be a lot of us Buckeyes on the forum.

Hope you have as good of luck with the LEDs as the rest have. I'm anticipating mine to arrive sometime before Christmas, I hope.

We are new owners as well. We just got our TT last summer so this is our second season out. You can check out the Factory Rally thread on the main forum page under Rally with Crossroads. There is a link there about this year's rally being held in July. We went last year and had a really good time.

Well I finally installed these replacement bulbs and I'm glad I did. I think the incandescent bulbs may be just a tad brighter, but these are awfully close.

Anyway, although I didn't take a before pic, here's a kinda blurry pic of the new LED's installed in the middle row of the trailer. These are all rated at 1w consumption. It's hard to tell how bright they are when there is outside light flooding the room, but I think you will get the idea.

Nice thing was that I got my shipment from China in about 10 business days instead of the 3-4 weeks they estimated. Now, let's see how long they last.

Jeff, i got those same lights. i only ordered 10 because I wanted to see how they are. My husband said they look flourescent (sp?) but we haven't seen them at night yet. I got mine a lot quicker than i thought too and they came from China.

Hope to find out this coming weekend, if we can get into the campground we want.

I'll say they seem a little cooler in color than the original bulbs, not quite as yellow. They are NOT blue white light.

The specs list them as warm white (3000~3500k). I would agree slightly less yellow than the 921's but not any where near fluorescent type light. I find them very pleasing in color and very adequate for reading at night.

While looking at the website, one of the reviews said something about radio interference. I assume none of you have had this issue.

Radio interference, that's strange. What would lights have to do with the radio or radio waves?

Jeff,
I purchased some random LED bulbs (4 in all) in haste before our first trip recently. The main reason was the my son likes to read in bed and often leaves the light on. I thought the heat of the light might disturb him so I bought some LED's to replace them. They worked great, no heat and he did leave them on all night, but they do have a bit of a blue-white color to them. He didn't seem to mind, but I didn't want to replace the rest of the lights because I kind of like the 'warm' glow they gave the main living area.
The ones you bought give off a warm tone?

Does your converter fan still kick in when you turn the main cabin lights on? Just curious.
Thanks,
mike

This is the bulb replacement that I got from my dealer. The 921 bulb replacement, but have to watch the manufacturers cuz some are slightly different. This bulb is great.

Hey Mike,
Yes these are a warm white light, not a cool blue white like you experienced. I think the color is very similar, maybe just a hair more white, but not quite as bright as the incandescents. I think these are 1.2w consumption. Normally the converter would kick on the fan after turning on 3 or 4 lights before. At one point I had 6 lights on at the same time and the fan never turned on.
I think you would like these for the money. I replaced every light inside the trailer.

So,

I decided to take the plunge...mickeyndallas ordered some equivalents (hopefully) to the set I bought on Amazon for $13/2 pcs a few weeks back.

Here they are..

http://www.aliexpress.com/item/2014-...719271126.html

Shipping from China, so hoping to have them in less than a month..and my credit card not hacked...

If they work out, I basically got 30 bulbs for $58 or less than 2 bucks a bulb..

If they're junk, I'll go through my credit card company and get my $ back.

Thanks Jeff,
I'm gonna go with those. Sound perfect. I'll keep the 'blue' ones I have as backups.

I hope they last us a while. Just a warning, some can be a very tight fit, use 2 hands and push firmly on the base into the socket. I think the plastic base may not be the exact shape or slightly oversized or something. They do eventually go in.

So I installed those flat ones that are really hard to install that everyone's been getting on Amazon - yes, finally ones that work . And 30 bulbs was the exact amount even for the one in the range hood and outside storage area light. They are definitely hard to install but after a little bit working at it they are all in and look great.

In regards to radio interference. It could be a few things. One is something called harmonics some lights have ballast and transformers that send a frequency through the wiring that cause interference. Anothe theory is a magnetic field. I'm a fireman but I'm also an electrical contractor. The new rescues have all LED lights and sometimes the ECG machine that runs off batteries gets interference from the lights. We have to shut them off to get a clean 12 lead. Random information.
