Rear Ladder

hi all, i really would like to put a ladder on the rear of my new Sunset Trail Super Lite, 27. have been told by my dealer that they can't install due to no blocking for a ladder. does anybody know if this is true?

I believe it is true, also the roof is not designated as a walk on roof and should not be walked on except to do routine maintenance and inspections. During which care should be taken to either stay on the trusses or span with plywood to support your weight

I wouldn't waste my time or money as the roof is not designed for it.

X3. Pretty sure no backing in those units.

I feel for you Sunset guys - we really like them, but liked the Zinger better when we upgraded. Having a rear ladder is awesome for cleaning and inspection, and it seems a very large number of you have skylight and front cap/skin issues. Hopefully that number is dwindling!

carefull not to put your full body weight in between the trusses. Lay a 4x4 peice of plywood or cdx down on the roof to be safe.
