solo stove

Anyone here using one? Looking for honest actual user pros/cons concerning, but not limited to:
Overall observations
anyone using it to cook on ?
anyone using pellets for fuel ?
heat deflector needed ?
Would you buy it all over again?

I purchased a Solo Ranger a couple of months ago. I also purchased the base and pellet adapter. I've started it once on pellets just to see how it operates. I barely covered the base of the pellet adapter. There was a flame higher than the stove top for a few minutes then it settled to coals. Fire lasted about 30 minutes. Fire will last longer the more pellets or wood that's added. The base didn't get hot. I could put my hand on it. I don't have the heat deflector so I don't know how far away the deflector will deflect heat. I got about 4' away from mine and could feel the heat. The Ranger is not the largest one so I assume which model you pick will dictate how much heat it radiates. I don't plan on cooking on it since my TT has an outdoor kitchen. Cleanup was easy as the pellets were almost nonexistent at the end.

Thanks for the feedback.
Wife bought me a Solo Bonfire for xmas. I haven't seen many out there in the campgrounds, but to be honest, I never really made it a point to look, either.
I spotted one at a chinese auction a few weeks ago, and commented on it, so she took that as a hint. lol. I like the concept of not dragging a bunch of firewood along/protecting it from rain, ect. Although now I'll be dragging along the stove, heating pellets, and cooking pellets, soooooo...
I ordered the pellet adapter yesterday (I read online that a full bag will burn for 3 hours) and online research forced me to buy the heat deflector as well (which should be included with the stove, IMO) but hey, its another money grab for the company. I also ordered a grill top for it, because I typically drag along a stainless grill grate I made at home for cooking over the fire anyway.
I figure I'll give it a fair shot, and see if it works out for the camper, if not I can keep it at home for the patio. We have a fireplace built into the back wall of our patio, but fireplaces don't throw much heat, and are not conducive for sitting around with friends on a chilly night.
We'll see how it goes.

I prefer the Breeo. The Solo is cheaper. But it is a bit too tall and narrow in diameter to see the fire we’ll. Ou have to sit very close in order to look down into the fire. I haven’t cooked on one, but I have the cooking grate for my Breeo and use it often.

Which model Breeo? The portable Model Y and the Solo Bonfire are identical in dimensions for diameter and height.
