Cold Temps AFTER Dewinterizing

We live in Cincinnati and are new to RV camping. We have already de-winterized our 2024 Sunset Trail 253RB, but now see there will be a few days next week (March 18 & 19 low around 26 degrees) with temps below freezing. After that, below freezing temps are (hopefully) over. Question - Should we winterize again for the few days of cold weather? Thanks for your help!

we are actually dealing with this now. Just turn on your furnace and leave the faucets open and the low point drains. Also we drain the water heater.

If you have access to an air compressor. You can use 40PSI and blow through city water inlet to get most of the water out by opening faucets one at a time. Don’t forget to drain water heater and low point drains. Also outside shower if you have one.

If the temps are going to be below freezing for a couple days we also blow out but if just overnight then the furnace is a lot quicker/easier than blowing out. At least for me.

Here up north in Dayton it is risky to plant tomatoes before mothers day because of the cold. mid may.

We long ago purchased a decent air compressor to top up the tires as necessary.

We use a valve for the air on the water line. From Lowes as I remember.

That and we always have several gallons of antifreeze around. The DW and I can winterize in well under fifteen minutes with the compressor.

Traveling in winter we carry water for drinking and to wash maybe. For the toilet we use antifreeze for major events until we get further south.

The risk is not worth the reward to me.

Or for two gallons of rv antifreeze you can winterize without air. Then drain the gray tank to a 5 gallon bucket and dispose of it.
