2011 Cruiser New Decals

Yes I am finished everything that I can do with sealing and making it look better with painting. But now I have to repair or replace the decals. But only on the front and passenger side, as the rear and drivers side look brand new. They never had any sun on them while being stored for the past 5 years. The decals are still all there ,some are cracking, mostly the bigger gold stripe. I have got a quote from a local graphics shop. And yes it was rather expensive. $1800.00 and I have to remove the old decals. There is a place in Canada that do make new ones but not for the exact year. RVdecalsdirect. They only have decals for certain years of Crossroad RV,s. Even with just ordering the front and two side Cruiser decals and two other side decals still came to around $900.00. So I am going to repaint the ones that are the most noticeable. I bought some 1/4 inch masking tape which works great for going in round circles. It will also be good that I worked in my dad,s auto body shop. Just mask it off, prep it, and do slow fine coats of paint. When I am done give it a clear coat to preserve and protect. But this will all have to wait till next summer as our winter is coming here on the west coast and it rains a lot here in the winter. So I will be covering my Cruiser up for the winter start on it next summer. Oh yes that is another totally different topic , to cover or not to cover.

I had the gold strip painted over and I'm pleased with the results.
