I was looking for pictures this morning of the Cruiser Sahara 330SS and ran across some. We are very interested in this model and floor plan but may have hit on a stumbling block that may keep us from buying one. It appears they have changed the material on the wall behind the stove area and the headboard behind the bed to some sort of a black backing material instead of the wood that use to be back there. Does anyone know what they have gone toin these areas now? We looked at the pictures we took of a Cruiser 335SS Patriot we looked at and the ones below and my wife does not like the black material they have gone to at all.

Dont know what to make of the black material Hunter. I also see that in the kitchen photo of the black material there is no longer the spice rack inset. We like the spice rack area as it gives us a place for bread and other small items that are out of the way and not taking up counter space.

I don't know if I care for the dark either. I know my wife wouldn't.

Maybe this is something just for the Sahara package and not on the 335SS Patriot. If this is something they are going to use on all the new ones we may have to go to plan "B". Guess we will see as more of the newer 2012 models hit the dealer lots.

Keith,

It kind of reminds me of countertop material I saw yrs ago. Not formica, but just a textured hard plastic. If so, in the kitchen it would stay cleaner than vinyl lauan that you normally see. Behind the bed, it would be ez to put wood paneling over the black material. Or maybe CR will just build the 'Hunter11' version of the Cruiser exactly how you want it.

I know on our 2012 cf335ss, the area at the head of the bed and the area behind the stove has wood looking paneling behind it. I did notice that the joints had a woodlooking tape on them. I hope that last good.
