Going smaller

Tomorrow we're trading our 08 CF32BL for a Rockwood Mini Lite 2104S going from a almost 35' fiver to a 21' pull behind. The 5th wheel has been a wonderful problem free rv but is just too big for me and my wife so we decided to downsize. My schedule only allows us to go camping one night at a time and something smaller would be easier. Happy camping to all.

We did the same, dropping 7 feet and about 4,000 pounds. Not so spacious and luxurious but a dream to maneuver. Have to say I miss the washer/dryer and other goodies though easier hauling makes up for a lot of it.

We did the same in 2012. Sold our 36' three slide and purchased a 16' Scamp TT, then went to a 19' Scamp 5er (no slide). We stayed with that for one year then realized we went to small. So we sold that and went to a 24' Coachman (one slide). We kept that for a year then purchased our 24' new Crossroads with ( two slide). Lord the money we could've saved over the years if we had stayed with a earlier 27' (one slide). LOL Yea, were a little touched in the head I guess.

Well we've taken our 1st trip with our new rv and couldn't be happier. The transition was a positive one, should have done it sooner.

I wish the Rockwood had some of the features the Cruiser had. I find the Cruiser was a better built rv and was trouble free. Hopefully the new one will be the same as they are all owned by Thor.
