Rain

Towed 4 hrs yesterday in light to very heavy rain plus strong cross winds, definitely the worst rain test this Cruiser has seen. Absolutely no leaks, slide seals, baggage doors, skylights, etc and no other issues.

Glad to hear that you didn't have any leaks. Towing through a heavy rain is a good test as to how well a unit is built.

Larry, glad to read that you had no issues. Towing or driving in pouring rain is problematic for many people. Where were you headed? On a build or pleasure trip?
Thanks for sharing.

Yep, same front leak tested ours at the campground at Bonham. So far so good. The trip to the campground was drizzle up to med rain. NO problems there either. Looks like it's going to work...

35 deg here and people tent camping?? I told the Ranger that my 5er was roughing it for me

Is that your first trip out since the fiasco?

Clif/Millie, I hope you stay warm up in northern Texas. Heck, my family in the Hill Country said it was very chilly there as well. Looks like most of Texas will have a chilly Thanksgiving. Back when I lived down there, I recall Thanksgiving and Christmas that were in the 70s and 80s. Loved it. Take care.

We were on our way back home from a great volunteer job at Lk Livingston. Last job of the year and 9th job since we rebuilt our house after the 2011 wildfire. It is a blessing to back the Cruiser into the RV garage and unpack out of the weather and as we please.

Still raining today, but drought is certainly not over, Lk Travis is maybe at 35% capacity.

It was nice to hear that Canyon Lake has come back up but Medina is still very dry. It will be some time before they all come back.

It is such a good thing that your group does to help others.

Medina Lake is down over 80 feet. It would take rain of biblical proportion to bring it back.
