There is always room to negotiate, especially with a dealer. Put your poker face on. The less excited you are with the price the more apt they are to lower it. NADA is only a guide and both seller and buyer need to be realistic on what "average retail" means. You could have 3 same make and model vehicles and one could be good, another very clean, and one like new for example. Value would be different for all three. Good luck.
