2018 Zinger 340RS woes
I bought my Zinger in Sept 2018. Love this RV. Took it out for a short camping trip and found the oven pilot light would blow out once the oven reached the desired temp selected. Brought it into the shop for a few weeks for the repair. Picked up the unit and headed south from Central NY to Myrtle Beach, S. Carolina. First use of the oven showed the issue was still happening, so no oven for the winter in the South. Also found I couldn't program channels on the living room tv, but tv in bedroom programmed fine. Swapped tvs and coax cables, but the issue persisted. I also noticed my tire nearest the entry door was wearing on the edge. Returned to NY in April and tire edge was mostly worn off so brought it back to the dealer to address these issues. Received a call from my tech this morning. The axles were found to be welded into an incorrect position and need to be removed and rewelded into the correct position, worn tire will be replaced. Also cabling in the ceiling has been found to be the culprit in my tv issues, so ceiling has to be removed to find the problem spot. Stove is getting replaced/fixed. These sound like MAJOR issues to me and I am not thrilled with owning/using an RV that needs these sort of fixes. Am I alone in this concern? I think this RV could be classified a lemon... Anyhow, awaiting manufacturer to find out what's going to happen next
