Question 2nd AC Install???

I have a 2013 Zinger 39DB. It is a 50 amp model. I want to add a 2nd AC unit in place of the air vent that is over the main bedroom. Right now I just have the single ducted unit over the kitchen/living area.

Where would the wiring be located (in relation to the air vent) in order to successfully install a 13,000 or 15,000 (non-ducted) AC unit?

Any practical insight for those who have done this install would be appreciated.

Pull the air vent off from inside and check in the cavity of the ceiling.

My trailer had an electric plug blank cover over the junction box in the ceiling next to the roof vent in the bedroom. All the connections for the 2nd A/C were in there.

So, there was a separate access panel next to the air vent? Or did you have to remove air vent trim to see the junction box?

A separate cover plate next to vent is on my 13 Cruiser.

Since it’s 50 amp service already my guess is the wiring will be there when you pull down the trim on the vent.

Agree, our 2019 sunset trail has the blank cover next to the vent on the outside of the vent. If it's not there it should be on the inside.
