Hello there just brought home a 2013 Sunset trail 300 bh today and have a question that so far everyone at the dealership said not sure what this bracket is for. It is located on the rear slide out i took a wild guess as satellite bracket like a telescope style pole Wife says something do do with the outdoor shower since it next to it. so put in your 2 cents and let us know.
I bet it is a for the towel rack. Look inside your under storage and you may see three small steel rods where your crank handle is. They attach to that for your rack.
This is a very useful feature for hanging swimsuits and towels to dry. We love them.
In your basement compartment you should have three black rods with a yellow cap on one end and a bend in the other end. Stick the bent end into the bracket and voila!
I like to say thanks i do remember seeing some rods in there but hadn't had a chance to look at those yet still in AHH at the new toy.. but once again Thanks for the response.
Now that i located them there was a crank with them not sure what thats for so im going to play the guessing game. I say it for manual retraction of the slide outs
Could be for that, or, it could be for manual stabilizer jacks.
Sounds like you will get a handle on this camper business real fast.
Jim, how about putting the make-model-and year of your camper in your sig.
That way everybody will know immediately what rig you are talking about.
By the way, welcome aboard.

Crank is for front jack and stabs in case of motor failure.
