We are the proud new owners of a Sunset Trail 270BH. Just brought it home yesterday. We love this floor plan and can't wait to go on our first camping trip in it.
I do have a question though. Does anyone know what the weight limit is on the outside TV bracket. I have a 32" TV, but I am not sure if it is too heavy to mount on the installed bracket.

Welcome, I have the same bracket. I believe it was designed to hold the same as the inside TV (32"), but I will check my manuals and see if I can't get you a better answer.

Congrats!, We just bought the Crossroads 2013 Z-1 271BH in April ourselves and aside from the few issues we have had and waiting on a new bathroom doorknob we are very excited ourselves to go on our third trip this upcoming weekend. I was successful in installing the brackets for the TV's in each room that move out to adjust the TV anyway you want and I have a 32 inch LED 1080p TV that we use so it will hold the weight. I just wouldn't leave it connected while in transit. I would suggest you get a DVD or Cable convertor that can upconvert from 720 to 1080p if you have that type of TV as the picture we get on this 1080p TV is less than stellar!.It's amazing that every time we go out with this TT we seem to learn something new....

Thanks all.
I was unable to find a weight limit for the outside bracket.[CW3Jason] I did see the 29" TV option, but am unsure if my 32" would be too heavy for that bracket. It seems a little thicker and heavier than the 32" TV that is mounted inside.
Congrats to you as well Ken07734 on your new camper.

We bought a new ST25RB w/ the same bracket. We also bought a 29" TV and were looking for an swivel extension bracket to mount the TV away from the RV but we wereconcerned about the weight. The TV weighs 17lbs.
Talked to CrossRoads who said the bracket is designed to hold 25lbs. We decided against the extension bracket due to potential torque issues on the bracket. I don't think I would go larger than 29" b/c of the weight. Also, there are available 1/4" and 1/2" spacers designed specifically for the mounting bracket on the TV that makes it MUCH easier to remove and not scratch the side of the RV.
That's my experience.

Yeah, it might be different for your setup. I do have a 32 inch firmly affixed to my wall and it works well. after two trips aof installing ad removing the screws and fasteners are still tight as when I installed them.

We have just sold a Coleman Travel Trailer that we had for 12 years and are interested possibly in the Crossroads Sunset Trail 270BH. Any advice would be helpful.
Thanks,

If you like the looks and floor plan, and you like the options and price, than go with it. Just do a good PDI. Don't let some of the stories scare you. There are issues with all manufactures and there trailers. More important is the dealer and the service center as this is where your warranty work will be done. I have a new Sunset trail andI love it. I have also experianced alot of the issues people are having here, such as sink not sealed to countertop, broken or stuck grey water valve, missing sealant, broken overtorqued fasteners. cracked slip joint nuts on outside sink drain from overtightning. Battery box fills with water.etc. Most of these issues were corrected at the dealer before picking up the trailer. (good PDI). Some I have found thru use and corrected myself. I still love my trailer and don't mind putting in alittle work. I have said many times. the sunset trail comes with many standard features that I have seen other manufactures call upgrades or other owners have installed as mods.

We have just purchased our first travel trailer - ST270BH. But we do not receive delivery until March. Is there any literature out there that is specific to the trailer? The ones I have seen are not very good. Thanks

My owners manual is a joke if you really want to know anything.

Thanks, we visited our trailer and I scooped up all the manuals. Yes I would have to agree it was dissapointing to look at the owners manual.
