Remote Propane Attachment
I have a 2014 Sunset Trail 300Bh. It comes with a remote connection to the Propane supply near the back outside Kitchen. I bought all the appropriate hose connections to connect the trailer supply to a Coleman gas grill I bought that is made to use the small propane bottles. Everything appears to connect correctly, but there is not enough gas making it through to the burners to keep them lit. I think the problem is because the gas pressure coming from the trailer has already been reduced and is now going through a second regulator on the gas grill reducing it even further. Can you modify a stand alone gas grill by taking off the regulator somehow and feed directly to the burners? Or do you have to buy a special grill made for RV use? Hope this isn't too confusing.
