U shaped dinette conversion to bed...HELP!

We just bought a 2020 Sunset Trail 268RL. My 10 year old preferred the dinette conversion to a bed vs. the bunks so that is why we chose this trailer. I can not for the life of me figure out how to put the cushions back on for a bed. The best configuration was with about 2 inches of the cushion hanging off which resulted in him readjusting himself to pull the gap together and none of us getting a good night sleep. Is there anyone with the same model that can post a photo of how the cushions get placed from the U-shaped dinette for the bed position? Would a mattress topper help this? This is either a poor design or I am terrible at tetris! Thank you!!!

My solution

Here they are! I took a few as I put it together. There is a small gap on the side, but if you tuck something in there and wrap it all in a twin fired sheet, it’s no problem. We cut down some foam. We also bought a mattress topper we keep rolled under the bench aver the top to make it more comfortable.

Yes, it is a dumb design, but at least this works for the most part. If you have the cushions turned the other way, they kept sliding off.
