FAMILY CAMPING RALLY

Plans are well underway for the FAMILY CAMPING RALLY.

The dates are July 8 9 10 2016.
Contact me to make reservations. This is how the camp ground wants me to do it.
We have 20 sites reserved and more can be added if needed all 30-50 full hookup,

This is a new location for our group, if you are interested in joining there are two ways of reserving. If you are coming in early ahead of the 8 th, Please call the campground to give them arrival & departure dates, mention the group name listed above to guarantee a site. You can also call Rick Michels at 314-591-0468 to give your information for a head count.
Some schedule events are in the works and to be announced.
Thursday night is Pot Luck at 6 pm.
Bring a dish to share, desserts are also welcomed. Bring you own utensils, plates, BOB, drinks, table cloth if you can spare. After the meal and clean up we'll meet for a campfire. TBA location



Saturday evening at: M&L LeAnn's Amish House 6: pm for a fantastic home cooked meal. Price of meal is: $14.00
Also LeAnn sells her jellies, peanut butter, and other goodies, so bring extra $.
Parking is limited so if you can share a ride that would be great.
Activities to do in a group or individual: Share a ride if you can
RV Salvage trip there are two locations. Rick will announce more on this outing.

Here's something else worth seeing:

RV/MH Hall of Fame - Museum - Library - Conference Center

It's the RV/Motor home Hall of Fame. There is a nice display of old RVs, a couple of new ones, and an really good mock-up of a trailer factory. There is a library upstairs with all kinds of books and publications relating to RVs. Of course there is also a gift shop.

Do not let the GPS take you the round-about way to get there which includes a very bad road, just access it from the main road. You can't miss the building - it is very unique.

Are you talking about the weather in the Elkhart area for this up coming weekend and into next week? July 5th is only a 20% chance of a.m. showers and sunny to partly cloudy through Thursday. At least that is what they said on the news last night.

That is a whole lot better then I finding on internet for July 5th thru 17th; weather channel claiming 20% - 60% most days.

Had some strong storms roll through here last week (lost the other half of a 100' cherry tree ) but has been pretty quite otherwise. They are calling for some rain later tonight but is supposed to be done by early morning.

I just looked on the weather channel website and it is showing only a chance for a scattered t-storms on Saturday. Let's keep our fingers crossed. Still to early for them to get it right.
