I've seriously considered learning the trade and quiting the corporate life to roast. I have a green been supplier that is a non-profit for refugee farmers in Haiti. If i could make a go at it I would in a heartbeat.

indoor roasting is a fantasy. chaff burns. bottom line.

It looks like the holes in the drum are to small for much chaff to work it's way out?

I'll take pix of mine over the weekend. The chaff mostly burns off and my cooling fan setup blows away all the chaff that gets left behind.
No outside demo though, its is going down to -5 this weekend.

As promised. Got above 20 today so roasted ten pounds of Columbian Santos. 10 lbs hard stuff and 10lbs 1/2 caff
