I'm looking for some advice on new boots for my F250.

I've burned through most of the useable tread on my OEM Michelins, and I'm looking for some recommendations on replacements.

I've had Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor in the past, but looking to see what others recommend. My truck has 275/70/R18s.

I'm also thinking about heading down to the states to pick up a set. I'm looking at minimum $1200 for any of the decent-rated tires up here. I think I can save quite a bit by buying in the US.

I had Michelin LTX M/S tires on my truck. After 7 years they still had plenty of tread left but were beginning to show sidewall cracking. I didn't feel comfortable keeping the Michelins in service or buying another set, so I saved a few bucks on a set of Cooper Discovery H/Ts a few weeks ago. With 1200 miles towing and a few hundred solo miles, I am pleased with them so far.

I did the exact same thing plus installed a set of the same Cooper HT on the 5th wheel. $1043.00 'out the door' cost for the truck tires......265-70-17's

Coopers for the truck all the way. I have had excellent experience with the Discoverer AT3 as an all season tire - 50,000 miles out of them. Now I'm running Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx. If you need an all season tire where you live these are both great tires and are not overly aggressive and are quiet.
