Anyone other than me notice how much posting GeorgeG is doing?

I think he needs to get back to work. Must be going crazy sitting around all day andreading this forum and watching the snow fall outside his window.

Yes, I have noticed. That is what is nice about being off during camping season, I'm out somewhere with the trailer. Bored stiff and too cold outside.

Actually I'm doing it for everyone's reading enjoyment! Edited by: GeorgeG

I don't know George. First you're looking for who the moderators are and then you start posting like crazy here on the new forum. Maybe you need a vacation?

Yea, he reminds me of Mark (markbet). He had a lot (700ish ?) posts before he took delivery of his sport. At least George has his RV!!!! I've been a member since 10/2004 and only have 1125 posts. I'm more a reader than a poster, but its fun!!Edited by: dsaalease

If you look you will see George lives in Pittsburgh. Not trying to bash Pittsburgh (even though I live in Cincinnati) but have you been in this part of the country during the winter? I am sure George is suffering from "cabin fever". I know I am!

Why the cabin fever? Skiing, snow shoeing, ice skating, winter hikes, winter camping, etc. Seems like there's alot to do other than shove/blow snow.

Just to let everyone know, I was out shoveling snow at 6 am and at therapy at 7 am. I just got home from threrapy at 10 am. I almost have a days work in already.

Cabin fever is not the word for it. Had back surgery Oct. 1 and I have not been doing too much other than therapy. Can't wait to get back to normal. eer, well maybe not normal but myself.

If I sat here just reading and not posting, you would not have anything to read or learn what I did.

Healing is going well. Doc said because of job, he would like to keep me off work for a year to heal all the way. But that is not going to happen.

George - somewhere, the old forum I think, I read that you where off from work healing and rehabing. That's why the subject line 'Too much time on his hands'.

Being from Pittsburgh also, there isn't much to do except shovel snow and wish for warmer weather so you can go camping.

Not City, Swissvale.

Every 3 weeks I get a 5 day weekend. I'll come home Thursday morning of that week, pack up and leave and come home Monday. I will bust my butt around the house to make sure nothing stands in my way for that weekend.

Where do you usually go? When we get out locally for a weekend, we usually go to Laurel Hill State Park. Only about 90 minutes from driveway to the site. Sometimes we will go to Cook Forest SP, but it's a little longer drive, maybe an additional 20-30 minutes.
