I'm surprised nobody here has mentioned the common newbie mistake of putting a replacement battery in with reversed polarity. On Crossroads, negative is white and positive is black. Think house-wiring. Put it/them in backwards, and the lights will work, but the radio won't. You blow the two big fuses at the converter, effectively taking that out of the circuit and cause people to blame it.
I have a 2020 crossroads 268rl and it has a factory disconnect and it cuts power to everything except the tongue jack,it’s located in the front storage bin along with water connections,,works great, has been sitting all winter and everything worked today when I switched it on!
When I added solar into my system, I marked my Positive Black cable with RED heat shrink along with all the other positive cables I made up to finish off the project. As I recall I spent 2 complete days making up appropriate cables, all marked, crimped and soldered.
