Since haven't mentioned how you intend to use the tester, I'm going to assume that you want it to measure your battery voltage to 1/10 of a volt. If that's all you want, then an in-expensive DVM will work fine. They are readily available for around 10 bucks or less. Put it on the 20V DC range and measure.

I guess I was negligent in not stating it would be used to check the voltage in the camper batteries. I just assumed everyone would figure it that way.

Old Farmer, not with that particular tester. Have used other Solar units. I use one of my digital multimeters for quick tests because I have several handy.
