Final fixed!
Well, it's been a while since posting. I periodically have had to punch a hole down the toilet with a snake to get it to drain. Unfortunately, within a day of so, here we go again.
I was almost sure my granddaughter must have put a toy or ball down the toilet but still not sure.
Knowing our NASCAR trip is here in a couple of weeks at Fontana, I had to go back to the storage center to "play" some more.
I took apart the seam in the basement, where the no hub connector creates a break to the tank.
I found about a 3" "plug" that had accumulated over time at the no hub connection. I could punch a hole through it to drain the liquids, but that's why it plugged right back up.
The no hub seam offset is only an 1/8" or so but I guess it's enough to start the process.
I was tempted to take pictures and post but decided otherwise!
I dumped a few gallons down the tank to ensure a good flush.
Now I'll ensure we use Calgon beads more often and keep that snake in the basement.
Finally got it right!
