I initially thought about electric valves, but then I read too many negatives on other forums. I installed the manual remotes instead. They work just fine and I don't have to crawl underneath anymore when dumping.

Squaredancer could you show a picture or tell me where to get the manual remotes, or how they are made.

The manual remotes work well but you need to make sure that the grub screws that hold the pull cable are always tight. On the Cruiser that shouldn't be an issue because the valves are located outside of the bottom cover. I had remote handles to valves that were hidden by the bottem cover on our previous 5vr and one came apart. I was on my back under the trailer for several cold hours repairing it, because we were a 1000 miles from home.
