Electrical Switches Working in Reverse!
Just picked our camper up from winter storage at the dealer. The battery was missing, we were told by the service department that it must have been stolen, but there was electrical tape on the connector which says otherwise. Not sure if it's related to this at all, but our big problem is now that we've got the new battery on, all the electrical switches are working in reverse. When we press the 'slide out' button the slide goes in, when we press the 'slide in' button it goes out. Same thing on the foot. Also, refrigerator is not working at all. Any ideas what would be causing all this? We've double checked the battery connectors and they are on correctly unless the factory installed them backwards.

Typically on a Crossroads, it is the black that is positive, and the white that is negative. Think like house wiring. You might have converter or radio problems after this, based on other's postings.

My bad!
Okay, I have to take back what I said. We did have the wires attached backwards. A quick search of the Internet when were about to hook up the battery said that the white should be on positive and black on negative, after speaking to our dealer's service manager we realize'd we were wrong. Thanks so much for your replies, all is well now!

X2...The wiring in your house Black is "Hot" or positive and White is neutral or negative. You can always do as Harley suggest and mark the positive or hot wire.

Well there you go. If it wasn't raining I would go look at mine. They should do that on all of them!

I found this after I hooked up my battery wrong too, might want to check the 40a fuses in the fuse panel. They are supposed to blow if the battery is hooked up backwards. Mine blew. What a way to learn, not sure if I fried the radio. getting it looked at next week. Cheers!

If I remember right, some others that did the same thing, said there is a separate fuse for the radio that also blows.
