Just paid Ad Valoremtaxes on our 2011 Seville for the first time and was rather surprised at how much they were.$102 MORE than the taxes on my 2010 F350 King Ranch that cost more???

You would think a full time road truck would be taxed higher that a camper that sits the majority of its life. Have others noticed the same thing or could they have classified it wrong?Edited by: GaPete

SC charges 6% taxes on campers. If you have a Class C or Class A motor home the taxes are computed at 4%. Camper has same thing as motor homes except a motor so why not compute both at the same. Edited by: franc2

I will be doing the same thing this summer when I get toFL- they will probably sock it to me the same way. Currently registered in WA, so they will probably get me for some kind of transfer fee too!
