We arrived in Florida this afternoon and the fridge is not working. It is blinking a series of 6 flashes.
In July, on the way home from the rally in Indiana we had a similar problem and an RV tech who has a small shop at his home fixed it. I checked the receipt from him (I scan in all my receipts so that is why I have it) and this was what he said on it:
"Fridge not cooling, flashing six light error code. Locked out because of low voltage. Hard manual reset performed."
I tried calling him but he is not at home right now. We need this fixed right away as we have lots of food in there.
Anyone know about this kind of thing? What is a hard manual reset and how would we go about doing this?

I did some searching, but found there are vast differences, especially between Norcold and Dometic. Some require a jumper wire across terminals. Google, as I did, "RV Fridge manual reset" and "RV Fridge blinking codes" There's lots of information out there, but without knowing what you have, it's hard to go further.
Is there anything blocking the roof vent for the fridge? My other trailer had a piece of insulation fall and almost fully block the venting, that caused the fridge to do strange things.

When we had a problem with our Norcold blinking we checked their website for a close-by authorized repair location. Called them to describe the problem and they determined it was the thermistor. Picked up the required part for $22 and self installed in 3 minutes. Suggest you make a similar call and hopefully your problem is as easy a fix.
