My just delivered '15 Hill Country has one bubble-looking area on the roof, about 4 inches long and 1.5 inches wide running along the rear roof edge, about 1 inch from the edge.
I am taking it in to Xploreusa Saturday for them to replace the A/C fan and told them to look at it. What am I facing here? TIA!

I have a bubble as well since new. It is about 12" oval right behind the front cap seal. I wondered about it and CR said it won't hurt anything. I was concerned it would get worse with all the wind going over the roof in that area. It hasn't caused any problems and has not gotten worse. I had CR write a letter into my record acknowledging the issue. I believe there is a lack of glue from the install process. You probably won't have any issues either especially so far back on the roof.
I noticed a bubble on my roof at inspection and the dealer said it was normal-allows for some expansion.
This is my first rv of any kind. I'm learning the construction of these things is somewhere between a tent and a beach bungalow. The rubber roof is amazing to me-there HAS to be a better way to put a roof on these things.
I don't think I buy the "it's for expansion" story, if it were they would be strategically placed, not 1 inch from the edge.....it seems more like insufficient glue or delamination, at a minimum.
After I posted my question, I noticed an older "Roof issues" post in the history. Lots of good info there.
Ron, if that bubble is only 1 in. from the edge, that would concern me a little. If it makes it to the edge and the wind can get a hold of it, I think it could lift it right off.
Have you taken pictures and informed your dealer plus CR? You will have it documented that way.
My roof has a couple bubbles but they have been there since new and haven't changed.
When the trailer was new, there was a part of the roof on the slide out that was showing signs of a problem. When I had it in for some warranty work I mentioned it and they put some glue in there and sealed it back down.
I agree with Lloyd about the proximity of the bubble to the edge of the roof. If it were somewhere a little further from the edge, a wrinkle or bubble that size probably wouldn't worry me. As long as the caulk/sealant is in good shape and there aren't any tears in the roof material, a bubble isn't that big a deal, but that close to the edge it might be.
