I-70 KS border to Limon Co - bad road

I just finished driving west bound from KS border to Limon CO. That stretch of road is in very bad condition. Thought it was going to shake the trailer apart. Several cabinet doors were opened and a storage box on the back platform was dislodged and broken open. I'm headed for Chatfield State Park in Denver. I'll make sure to drive south on 2 lane blacktop Hyw 86. No way it could be in worst condition than I-70. All that great weed tax money certainly isn't being used to maintain the highway.
I drove this same route last year and it was getting bad but is now much worse.
Anybody else driven that road in the past few months and feel it was in bad condition?
