LCI Ground Control 3.0 Auto Level System
Am considering ordering this option on a new 5er. Have watched youtube videos on this electric system vs the Level up hydraulic system. Talked to 2 people in campgrounds who said it was the best option they ever ordered. Watched one guy operate it on their first set-up after picking their new rig up from the local dealer and was fascinated to see how quick and easy leveling was. It was a 4 point system and was amazing to see the jack at each corner level itself at the push of a few buttons. One dealer, however, said stay away from it as it hasn't been around long enough to establish a track record for reliability and is just one more thing that can go wrong. It appears that the 3.0 is the third generation of this system.
Wondering if anyone out there is using this system, or knows someone who is using it and their experiences/recommendations, or has more in depth knowledge than I've been able to dig up. Also open to opinions as this is a $2K decision. Thanks in advance!

Hmmm. No comments. Maybe this system is too new to have any track record? I have now noticed Camping World offers this.

Here are some items I found on web.
Quote:
Jayco has changed Auto Leveling System suppliers.
Many customers had problems with the Atwood Auto Leveling System.
Jayco is now using the LCI Ground Control Electric Leveling System with the LCI Controller.
|
Quote:
Ground Control 3.0’s ‘Hall Effect’ leveling technology provides faster, more precise leveling with telescoping rear legs that do not need drop pins. The remote-compatible system features an auto-rehitch memory option, taking the guesswork out of hookup.

Hope it helps a little.

We have the Intellijacks ( http://www.intellijacks.com/) system on our 5th wheel and even though it isn't a 4 point leveling system (you still have to level from side to side with blocks under tires) we still love it. I love being able to just push a button to set the connect, disconnect, level (front to back) and full retract. It was easy to set up and works great no matter if you are on a sloped site or a perfectly level site. Once you have it set up you don't have to reprogram it everytime you hit a different site.

Thanks Mark and Phil. The benefits of front to back and side to side leveling at the push of a couple buttons plus the hitching height memory intrigue me to no end. Finally found two positive comments in reviews on Amazon. Only one was by someone who actually uses the system. Wouldn't be so gun shy if I wasn't 200 miles from a dealer who does warranty work on the brand of 5er I'm dealing on. Still pondering and wondering what happened with Intellijacks no longer offering product or support?

I tried calling them. They transfer you to Crossroads if the jacks are on a Crossroads brand. If not you get a message that says "leave your name and phone number, we'll call you back."
Also have an email into them, I need help with a question. No response since I sent it last night.
