Led replacement, advice!

Well as I figured our second set of awning lights went out this week on our camping trip. I have the led lights that are in the channel of the awning. I had the first set replaced under warranty. We don’t use them that often. So, I guess I will replace the ones in the awning with a strip light on the side of the camper under the awning. My only drawback is I have a kitchen slide under the awning which will take away some of the light. I’ve heard that their all crap. Anyway, looking for advice on a good strip light led that has held up well for anyone?

Some of my LEDs are out in my awning strip. I was also thinking about replacing with a strip along the side of the camper, but I had forgotten that I also have the problem of having a kitchen slide there. My slide would block all of the useful light from a strip on the side because the awning is less than 6" above the slide and the flange would block most of the light. When I replace mine I guess I'll slide another strip into the awning channel.

From helping friends replace theirs a couple times (BTW have quit again) & reading this & other forums I believe I'd replace them with the flamingos or tiny campers hanging from the awning or do nothing rather dealing with the ever replacing LEDS.

Problem with hanging from the awning! Mine is so high up I couldn’t reach it to do that.

travelin texans... That's all I,ve ever done. Too much tech means too many problems! Papa T... put the hangers in when its down low and string them before raising if possible. I take two step stools for setting up my lights and awning flap clamps for just the problem you have... I'm much too short half the time!

Mine is electric. Comes straight out and to high to reach without a tall ladder; which I don’t carry one that tall.
