As a carpenter, I have installed many, many rubber roofs in my day. As stated above, it will not be an issue, unless it is at a spot along the perimeter, where it may have the opportunity to peel, or allow moisture underneath. A common cause of this is the use of excessive adhesive (puddling) in that particular spot, or the rubber was laid before the adhesive was dry enough... The adhesive releases gases as it drys, which will cause bubbling if the roofing is laid too early. Some rubber roofing techniques only require adhesive at the perimeter edges, and seams, and it lays free in the field.
