Tire minder

I just installed a tire minder to my rig and had a question. The signal booster has two alligator clips that clip to the battery. They didn't look like they would stay on beating down the road. I replaced them with ring terminals and wired them through my battery cut off switch. Everything is working well, but I wonder if it being on while camping will hurt the signal booster or drain the batteries prematurely. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I don't think it will hurt a thing. Mine was wired direct and I never had any issues.

Mine is direct wired as well and we’ve been using it for going on 3 years without any issues.

Thanks Rustyg, I appreciate the positive response. We just got home from 5 days at the Red River Gorge in Kentucky. The tire minder worked flawlessly. It great for piece of mind.
